Thing 6

Thing 6
I love dragonflies so I did a search on dragonflies. I could not believe how may pictures came up. I spent 40 minutes looking at them. I picked the one below because it has the most beautiful background in it. I love the sun in the background. I look to spend more time this summer on Flickr.
I figured out hour to pull up back blogs on bloglines. One thing is for sure you can’t be afraid to click around on the sites.
Us oldies are afraid we might mess something up or lose something. Well at least this oldie.

I think it's so true, that there are lots of people worried about breaking things out there! I know some of the teachers I work with feel like that. Others who have been teaching more than 30 years say, just show me! Since I was in college when people started using e-mail and the internet (remember Gopher, anyone?) I am sort of on that cusp between the "digital natives" and the "digital immigrants," so I feel like I have sympathy for both sets of people. I think the thing that is important for everyone to remember is that we all just learn as we go! Even those of us who are familiar with technology! And as you said, you can't break anything on the web! Most things you work with even have some sort of UNDO feature, so you can fix what you've just done if you don't like it!
